How fun! I did the London thing and Cambridge, WOW, almost 18 years ago. I have many of the same pictures. I have a great one of my son (then 2) sitting between that lions paws (or one of the lions) in Trafalgar and standing between 2 bobbies holding their hands in front of the palace.
I would LOVE to go back. I never made it to Scotland. Maybe if I show DSD the pictures of you drinking ale across the country he will happily spend the money. :-)
It looks like you had a great time, I am sooo jealous!
Wow! When did this happen Pete? Oh how I would love to be there too,so many great places to see. I hope that Guinness you're drinking is in Ireland, so nice to see you again, have a fabulous time. Dont forget, more pics please. xoxo
ah yes, the acropolis I've tried painting that danged thing so many times, it drives me mad! Thing is, the sheer size of it, by the time I get a human standing there at the base of it, makes it look like I don't know what the heck I'm doing!
Glad you're enjoying the lands there! Couldn't think of a better reason for you to have been 'quiet' for so long.
LLL - it was a great trip - my first ever to the UK... I got back last weekend after a vrey full week overseas...
dianne - nice to see you... I've been to Ireland twice before, so I decided to focus on England and Scotland this time... I did take a lot of pics - linked to at the bottom of my post... ;-)
boney - thanks for coming by... I had a wonderful time taking in the culture over there...
Just watched your videos, I have been experiencing problems with 'streaming'... just my computer. Love your Scottish accent, loved the pipes, great view from the London Eye and gosh those vaults are dark. So you have been to Ireland twice before, that must have been great, lovely photos BTW, glad you had a wonderful time. ♡
So you did get my link to the music by the 'Dropkick Murphy's', Shipping down to Boston and my comment?...I couldnt find where I had left it here...I've been very busy, thought I may have left the comment somewhere else. :/ :) ♡
Tanks had a peek at yur Irish pics Pete me lad, very nice ta be sure. What a great sense of humour ya have and yur mates. Saw the busker on Pearce Street, hard way ta make a living...I see he had a tin whistle and would that be Uilleann pipes he had under his arm?

Lol I found my 'missing' comments on the previous post :/ I seem to get confused when I come over here... please dont think I'm an airhead, its most likely your charm and good looks or the fumes from the Guinness that get me all flustered. ;) ♡

dianne - I thought maybe you were confused, having made comments on an older post!
the busker had a wood flute under his arm... one of the people in the pub session pic is playing pipes, however...
I enjoyed the DK Murphys... I almost saw them, but it was on a "school night" and started very late...
